West Village Residence

Interior Design, Residential —

This cozy West Village two-bedroom apartment, renovated by Reddymade, was created for two avid lovers of mid-century modern design. The project focused on maximizing space and includes custom millwork, such as radiator covers and a kitchen screen inspired by vintage Japanese gates. A wood-paneled refrigerator blends seamlessly with the design. Built-in storage and carefully selected furniture pieces help maintain a clutter-free environment.

Every element was carefully chosen, from the Rich Brilliant Willing Mori lamps and the Issey Miyake pendant to the vintage double knot Moroccan rug and the green classic Eames chair. The new design is pulled together with the couple’s private art collection, showcasing works by artists Cecily Brown, Dana Kirkpatrick, and Beth Yorn. All pieces are tailored to enhance the feeling of space and define each area of the apartment while maintaining a cohesive flow.
