Azar Residence

Interior Design, townhouse —

A hospitality executive purchased a classic New York City townhouse and wanted to convert it into a place that better reflected his needs and personality. The three-bedroom, 1,800 square feet apartment originally had the kitchen, dining and living rooms, all in one large open space.  Reddymade transformed the proportions so that it better suited the townhouse by separating the kitchen from the rest of the living spaces with a wall and 2 sliding, pocket-doors.  Additionally, the ceiling was raised in the living room, maximizing the effects of the light from the south-facing windows.
